While little is known of this museum’s namesake, General Edward Hand played a vital role in many parts of Lancaster’s history. This section deals with sharing the life and legacy of Edward Hand, from his early years fighting in the Revolutionary War to the development of the Lancaster Almshouse and finally his death in 1802.
